Why OWL?

OWL students and their parents have shared that OWL is the highlight of their week. Being outside and playing and learning together can not only be fun, but also uplifting and even life-changing. It feels healthy and important to spend time outdoors as it positively impacts vitality and overall health and well-being.

When we learn and experience that we are connected to the places that ultimately sustain us, it brings a sense of contentment and joy to everyday living. When we spend considerable amounts of time outside, we begin to notice shifts and changes, and are slowly invited to become stewards of the land we inhabit, and better citizens of the earth.
